Taiwan: Day 3-->西門町 & Mulan Motel

大家好!!Back to my drag-for-so-long post! Suddenly have the mood to blog! 3rd day finally we head to Taipei!! Was super excited and more energetic on that day, did make up a lil muahaha! But that was the last day i can dress up tho cos somethin happen on the following days that spoilt my hols.

Bye Bye Fullon Hotel!
In the bullet train

Then we reached our 2nd hotel. Should be themed motel, MULAN! The place is so secretive, it is some sort of a place for ppl who wants to have affair. The check in time is late so we planned to drop our luggages thr and go to 西門町first. Here,i wanna thank my 2nd sis for the nite at the motel as our wedding gift. Muacks!

See,how secluded the room is. 1 parking lot for each room!

Spot 101!!

Oh god,he's coming!
When i was taking his pic,he came to me.. what a friendly skeleton!

Here we are! Xi Men Ding! A place for youngsters

Some random shop
Look up!

阿宗麵線

This 阿宗麵線 is in our not-so-complete itinerary {>.<} It's like somethin that u must try if u're in Taipei. Although thr were quite many customers but their service is fast and efficient. Don't hav to queue long for it. This shop doesnt hav any tables for proper dining but seats are provided.

But we prefer stand and eat! Me and hubby bought 1 big bowl to share cos i know i cant finish the whole bowl myself. I feel the taste is ok, not as good as i expect. But stil, worth trying.

Cute scooter!

We shop around there til around 6pm then we stop by this old restaurant for some Jap food. It had been opened since 1950+ i guess something like that cos nvr reli bother the history, i just know that i'm hungry.  This is the cheapest meal we had during our whole trip(in a restaurant la). 5persons only cost us ard rm50 for all these food! No wonder the place is so packed with ppl.

 Their version of cawanmushi

Miso soup

I dont noe it's just me or blogger has a prob. Many attempts to upload but the quality end up like this!

Ok, after dinner head back to Mulan Motel to have a good nite rest. But we were so "lucky" to board a taxi that the driver has Lewis Hamilton driving skills. We were like moving left right front back through out the whole journey. Me and my sis looked at each other with fear, hahaha! We cant deny that he has good driving skills but still, we dont want that! We were busy checking out our room!

Then we pay a visit to their room! I love their room so much, look grand with the modern design but of cos we love our room too!

We ordered food and imagine how much privacy they gave to their customers. They ring our doorbell then placed our food outside this door and  they left before we open the door.  Hubby said this is the exit for those who wants to run away when their  husband/wife comes. There are many motels in Taipei provide similar service to those who wants to have affair (~how considerate~).

The food is nice and the price is reasonable

Look at the snacks they provide, not able to finish all tho

End my post with this pic. It's called PartyWorld. The whole building is for karaoke, imagine how huge the place is. But we dont want to waste our time singing in Taipei so just passed by =) Redbox, consider doing this pls!

Pissed off!

I'm down with fever and flu, bugged with my almost 1month unusual PMS, a super big bee in my room and finally diarrhea and and and no medicine to eat! What a perfect combo for a perfect weekend! How to get the giant bee out so that i can sleep peacefully T.T Mom and dad want to bring me to the doc but at this hour i just hav to lie to them im fine cos it's late and i dont wanna bother them. They dont hav enough rest lately, poor them :( Of cos would like to sleep at this tiring state but the bee =( keep on stayin in. Arrrgghhh! My PMS is killing me badly too!!! END.

Taiwan: Day 2-->夢時代購物中心, 龙虎塔,六合夜市

Back to my 台湾 trip!! 第二天了~ Early in the morn we had breakfast at Fullon Hotel. Many choices thr but as usual early morn i dont hav the appetite to eat :( After breakfast, back to room to prepare

While preparing, camwhoring comes along :))

Photobucket

Okie, here we go! Our first stop is Dream Mall (夢時代購物中心). It's the biggest shopping mall in Taiwan and according to Wikipedia it's the largest in East Asia! It was a "boiling" day,so hot cant even open our eyes but compared to Taipei, Kaohsiung is far better cos Taipei is so damn freaking hot,the highest temp went up to 39degrees C i think!

Went into some random place to have our lunch. The food thr is so so but vr pricey. The food pics were uploaded  in my FB so dont care to upload it again here. Just want to share the drinks. Spot my bubble milk tea with white pearls. No worry to consume the BMT thr as those selling are those which are safe to consume. This is what the taxi driver told us and i chose to believe him cos i just love 珍珠奶茶

We passed by this stall selling the "self-proclaimed" famous papaya milk of kaohsiung. Of cos we bought and tried it since there was a long queue in front of the stall. *assuming sure it's a nice drink*

End up not nice also :( Wonders why so many ppl queueing up. Each cup costs us NT$50.

Then we saw ppl selling this, kinda reasonable only NT$100 per box. And taste super yummy,vr worth it! The cake is vr soft and spongy filled with cream. . ok i missed it now ='(

Taiwanese lovesss Hello Kitty very much, u can easily spot things-related to HelloKitty everywhere. And here,at the top of the mall they have this super kawaii ferris wheel printed with the kitty. Notice even the booth is my fav kitty too! SO cute, who can resist. I know many ppl can resist but i can't haha!

They even have the plush cushion in the capsule. I notice the thingy is quite dirty so better dont take it too long cos u wont know how many ppl touch it b4. Spot Xi admiring the view. *how cute* She keeps on saying other ppl's capsule is cuter.

Smile till so "su boon" so not her *haha*
Looking happy mah hubby!

view from atop

Then we headed back to our room for some rest then went to 龙虎塔 for evening walk.

I like this pic, look so artsy! No doubt my cam takes nice pics of sceneries
I like the environment thr, everyone seems to slow down their pace of lives cos the place is so calm and comfy. Many ppl walk their dogs, riding bicycles, holding hands and taking pics.

The place is named after the 2pagodas which are the dragon and tiger. We climbed up to the top of pagoda and hubby is afraid of height  =I   So vr few pics of him from the top of pagoda.

Just the 2nd day and my skin is getting darker cos I dont like to put on UV protection lotion :( So end up after coming back from the trip I think I'm 2 tones darker already.

This pic of sis looks so surreal =D
Sunset

After strolling around 龙虎塔 we went to pray at the nearby temple. Then as the night approach it's time for the nite market again. We went to 六合夜市 on the 2nd nite. It's kinda crowded too.

Spot this cute puppy at the pet shop in the nite market. Reminds me of baby Hilton. Miss him so much =(

We had our dinner there and went back home happily with supper to munch on when we were back in hotel. We went from place to place via taxi cos the taxi fares thr is quite reasonable so that we dont have to walk the extra mile to take the MRT. The taxi fare is cheap compared to Msia and HK.

It's getting late, gotta get some sleep now. Perhaps will update my blog again dis weekend!!
